Full. Our lives are full. If we tried to add anything in, something would fall out. We have early morning wake up snuggles to deal with. Fun at the breakfast table is next. Then off to work for Curt. Off to bed for Joseay. Off to a half day of school for Brown though he plays hooky quite often. Chris is full time mom and still web-designing. Yes full. Afternoon naps after a rambunctious lunch. Playing outside in the backyard – Brown can dribble the soccer ball! Dinner where Brown reminds us to “pway.” Then it is time to clear the room for dancing for Brown and walking practice for Joseay. Bedtime snuggles and books for kids and adults. Then sleep. Full. Full. Our house is full. We are stepping over each other and waking each other up. Joseay downstairs, monitors galore. We have cleared half our furniture out (now mom’s basement is full) and our house is on the market. Full. Doable, but full. Full. Our hearts are full. After rough starts with both of our kids, we are blessed beyond measure to be able to enjoy our kids and each other. God has given us a wonderful season of enjoyment. We have celebrated birthdays with nieces, nephews, siblings and parents and even a wedding (Chris’ brother at the lake). Chris and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in May by sleeping for two straight days interrupted only by meals. Emotionally and spiritually full. We are thankful for God’s fullness in our lives and in the lives of those around us. Merry Christmas, Curt, Chris, Brown(3), Joseay(1) |
